What is Trezor® Wallet?
Trezor® is a hardware wallet designed to store cryptocurrency keys offline. Unlike hot wallets, a Trezor® Hardware Wallet keeps private keys isolated from your computer or phone — protecting them from malware, phishing and remote attacks.
Getting started — trezor.io/start & Trezor Suite
Begin at trezor.io/start to confirm your model and download the official app. The modern desktop and web experience runs through Trezor Suite — the official management app (Trezor Suite App). You can also download the Suite: Trezor Suite Download is available for Windows, macOS and Linux. Always use the official page at trezor.io/start to avoid counterfeit software.
Connecting: Trezor Bridge & Bridge Download
Older browsers or setups require Trezor Bridge as a small background helper for device-browser communication. If your OS asks for drivers, Trezor Bridge Download from the official site solves most connectivity problems.
Login & common issues
To open your wallet, connect the device and unlock with its PIN. If you encounter Trezor login not working, Unable to login Trezor, or Error Connecting Trezor Account messages, try these quick fixes:
- Ensure Trezor Suite or the web app is from trezor.io/start.
- Install or update Trezor Bridge and your browser.
- Try a different USB cable/port — use a data cable, not power-only.
- Restart Suite and your computer; check OS permissions for USB.
Account recovery & security
If your device is lost or damaged, Trezor® Account Recovery depends on your recovery seed (the 12–24 word phrase generated when you set up the device). Never share this seed. Trezor does not store your recovery phrase — responsibility for safekeeping lies with you.
2FA, verification & support
Trezor® does not implement typical cloud 2FA reset flows because keys are local. If you mean application-level 2FA (e.g., exchange accounts), reset with the provider. For verification errors like "Can't verify Trezor Wallet" consult the Trezor Help Center or re-run the device authenticity check in Suite.
